Missions :
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the terminal’s IT strategy in alignment with business goals.Drive digitalization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and customer service.Lead IT governance, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.IT Operations & Infrastructure:
versee the daily operations of IT systems, including TOS, Gate systems, OCR, Yard automation, and related applications.Ensure high availability, resilience, and scalability of IT infrastructure, servers, and networks.Manage cybersecurity risks, ensuring data protection, business continuity, and disaster recovery.Projects & Innovation:
Lead IT-related projects, upgrades, and system integrations with ERP, Finance, HR, and other enterprise platforms.Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies (AI, IoT, Cloud, Analytics) relevant to terminal operations.Coordinate with equipment vendors to ensure system connectivity and performance.People & Vendors Management:
Lead and develop the IT team, ensuring high performance, skill growth, and service orientation.Manage relationships with software vendors, hardware suppliers, and service providers.Negotiate contracts, monitor service-level agreements, and optimize IT costs.Compliance & Security:
Ensure IT systems comply with Algerian regulations, Group IT policies and international standards (ISO 27001, IMO cybersecurity guidelines).Implement audit controls, risk assessments, and IT security frameworks.Ensure compliance with data protection and local regulations. Profil :The successful candidate will possess the following:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.Minimum 1012 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role within the port, logistics, or transport industry.Strong knowledge of ERP systems, Gate & OCR solutions, and automation technologies.Proven experience in cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and enterprise IT infrastructure.Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
