The Associate Manager – Human Resources is responsible for
partnering with business leaders to facilitate the achievement of optimum
business results, while creating a strong talent pipeline and fostering an
engaging, distinctive organizational culture aligned with company values. The
jobholder is expected to lead the HR function within the assigned Business
Unit(s), ensuring that all HR strategies and initiatives are fully aligned with
and supportive of the Business Unit's objectives. In addition, the role carries
responsibility for overseeing the Administration function of the respective
Business Unit(s).

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Administration; MBA
in Human Resources is highly preferred ;
7–10 years in Human Resources, with roles in HR Generalist
functions and/or HR Project Management;
Fluent in Arabic, French, and English (spoken and written);
Strong background in core HR functions such as recruitment,
onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations;
Deep understanding of business operations, competition,
consumer behavior, and product dynamics;
Experience in B2B trade, contractual B2B customers, B2B
distribution, and B2C segments including Modern Trade (MT), Small Shops (SS),
and Grocery channels;
Solid grasp of profitability drivers, cash flow, and
shareholder value;
Proficient in international and/or local labor laws and
compliance requirements;
Skilled in planning and executing organizational change with
structured approaches to ensure effective adoption;
Strong ability to define and position an employee value
proposition aligned with both business strategy and workforce expectations .
Missions:
Responsible for end to end recruitment activities including Manpower Budgeting, planning, Recruitment and selection process ;
Drive PMS in respective BUs to promote Performance driven culture ;
Facilitate yearly Performance Appraisal of Non Mgmt staff and Performance Appraisal & periodic review of Management employees Drive Talent management/development activities in the BU to support achievement of TM ambitions ;
Prepare and present Annual budget ;
Monitor People and Admin cost against the approved budget ;
Work closely with the sustainability team to drive sustainability initiatives at offices & in labour camps ;
Full knowledge and support the various Audits (ADFSA, Food Safety standards, Supplier audits, HSE audits) ;
Closely work with Quality and maintenance team to ensure that facilitiy is fully compliant with the relevant/applicable standards ;
Ensure fool proof security measures in place ;
Ensure fool proof security measures in place ;
Lead cross-functional change projects ;
Develop Implement Sucession Planning for all the key positions ;
Facilitate Employee Engagement Survey and analyze results.
