Danone MENA is seeking a talented Business Controller for our Maghreb Cluster, to be based in Algeria. In the context of Specialized Nutrition MENA, you will support the Controlling Lead in budget management, distributor follow-up, and financial monitoring, with a special focus on Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia, managing a cross-border scope. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the Head of Controlling and business leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives. Work in partnership with the Demand Planner to build volume forecasts, perform COGS valuation, prepare country-level P&Ls, and identify risks and opportunities, Act as a strategic finance partner for Sales, Planning, and Marketing teams across the Maghreb region (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia). Participate in distributor contract reviews, including payment terms, value chain, and incoterms. Coordinate and control budgets for A&P, Trade Promotions, and other selling costs. Oversee topline controlling, variance analysis, and related forecasting (net sales variance). Monitor distributor collections and customer accounts receivable in Morocco and Tunisia, in coordination with the Business Services team. Conduct profitability analysis by SKU and manage trade promotions by distributor. Assist the Controlling Manager in maintaining a strong control environment and support year-end statutory audits, Danone internal audit requirements, and legal reporting. Propose and implement new business processes and procedures to drive efficiency. Education & Experience  Graduation from a business school with a major in Finance or Accounting.  Qualified accountant (CPA, CMA, or equivalent).  Proven experience 4-5 years in a similar role within a matrixed or multinational environment Leadership Competencies  Strategic thinking and influencing.  Accountability and results orientation. Functional Competencies  Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).  Strong financial planning and analysis capabilities.  Data integrity and systems management.  Business partnering and stakeholder engagement.  Strong command of ERP and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI).  Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional initiatives.  Track record of meeting reporting deadlines and ensuring data accuracy.  Exposure to audit processes and internal control frameworks
