Responsibilities:
Perform daily accounting transactions, including processing customer and vendor invoices, payments, and receipts.
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and financial reports.
Ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.
Analyze variances, identify financial trends, and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and transparent information sharing.
Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous professional experience in a similar role, preferably in [industry or field].
Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to proactively solve problems.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, etc.).
Professional accounting certification (an asset).
